This would be very helpful. From a data architecture point, it would mean insurance would need its own data table so we can have multiple insurances for the same patient and just indicate which is active and for what time period. But this is how insurance works in the real world where people expire a policy and get a new one or start a new job all the time.

Yes please I have asked for this before, as this is a big pain when it pulls old visits that are not covered under the new policy as patient was self-pay prior. Adds more work to our plate to double check items when we shouldn't have too.
