One of my patients accidentally disabled emailed notifications, so they can't get into their portal and see our messages. I know once logged into the portal a patient can choose to re-enable emails. But my patient forgot their portal password and the only option to receive a reset code is...you guessed it, an email :(. Which is disabled/blocked. Can there be other alternatives that aren't just emails? Like SMS, security questions, or at least admin permission to over ride the request? We're currently stuck as there are many documents and chats sent. Right now I'm asking them if they can give an alternative email, but I would have to resend all the shared documents even if I export the portal conversation.
