It would be helpful to be able to text clients their invoices or a link to their invoice from the portal. Also adding poral messages through a text notification would be great.

Most clients wont check their email but will check their text messages. Would like to have an option to send the invoice to their phone as a text message.

I've found a work around for this. I created a form called 'Portal Message'. Then I go to Settings ->Other Messages -> SMS Messages-> and write 'you have a portal message from XYZ. Please click this link to log in'. & link the portal log in. It will still have the link to the form, If they accidentally click on the form link, on the form I put 'please use this link to log into your patient portal'. You will have to delete the form after (if you don't want it to be an incomplete form) and you have to manually go to the form and click 'send form to client' and choose SMS, but this option has been better than just having email and allows me to text the patient they have a message instead. Now sometimes it won't deliver because it's marked as spam, so avoid using phrases like 'disregard other link' or exclamations or have your business name repeated too many times.

100% agreed on this. For some reason a lot of my invoices end up in peoples Spam folders. Text would be so much better

YES! why are the only options email and portal? And then if you send it via the portal they only get the email notif that they have a portal message... It's not very friendly to the new generations
