Process Automation by Tag

I like this, as well as the option to auto-tag clients (i.e. tag client for discharge when they have missed so many appointments.)

I would also add that it would be GREAT if we could auto-tag new clients. Right now the only way to do this is by creating a rule for a specific intake form - and rules can only be sued with questions that have pre-determined answers. So, it is impossible to automatically tag a client as a couple or a family, for instance, simply because I sent them the Couples Intake form or the Family Intake form.

I would like to do an if then process:
If refill request form is submitted and has tag X then process invoice.
A limitation to this is when people submit a form using a new email address then the process won't work as intended. There should also be an option for no tags.

Hello, what kinds of things would you be looking to do with this?

Tyson Edwards: The more task automation, the better! Personally, I would like to see process automations be initiated by custom fields in the client profile. But if that cant be done, then tags are are good option as well. We would like to automatically assign tasks based on certain characteristics or client attributes.

Tyson Edwards: same as the other automation. If tag equals x then do...

Tyson Edwards: Yes, the more that can be automated the better. This would be beyond tags. Mainly automating "if/then" tasks to the profile. An example off the top of my head:
- If answer to intake question is "Yes, I will be using my insurance," then [turn off auto-charge on client profile, set client type to insurance].
- Send another form to client in 2 days

Andres Chou: Absolutely agree!

Tyson Edwards: Setting task reminders, such as reminders to submit claims (only half of my meetings are for insurance clients, and it can be easy to miss if an insurance client wasn't billed).

To add to this, this is a scenario that came up today. I do "courtesy billing" where I submit out-of-network claims for clients. I'd like to be able to have something like this happen after a client fills out an intake questionnaire:
Q: Do you want us to provide courtesy billing?
IF Yes, then...
- Set Billing Type to "Insurance"
- Set Claim Default > Accept Assignment to "No"
- Set Co-pay amount to "$$$"
