I would like to have a box where we can add the name the patients go by. I have a client that goes by her middle name instead of her first name.

You can do this already - you have to add a custom box that gets added to the demographics. Only issue is that you then can't search for them with their preferred name.

Fairly sure you can do this on any Form all on your own.

Jesse LaBrocca But it doesn't show up in their profile screen. There currently isn't a place to put it, except under "Additional Information"

Andi D Well that's true. I suppose would be nice to have more customizing options in general on the Profile Screen. Asking for one parameter like Nickname seems wasteful when really we should be asking for more customizing of the Profile overall.

Extremely Helpful to have a prefered name "box". There are so many people that want to go by a different name that have no connection to legal name. And they have that right. And when creating a superbill or claim their legally name can be populated vs having to remember knowing how to spell their name since it does not auto populate

A year or so ago, I added a box to my intake forms where they can out their preferred names. It's been working out nicely.
