Hello, Can we add more claim status VM LEFT & INS REPROCESSING.
Also, can we get this status tab while fetching the Aging report as it is not coming up right now. Moreover, we would like to include the claim notes as well in the aging report so we can identify the unworked claims through the report.
Thanks,
Tyson Edwards

Hi all, we have some additional status' available today.
These can be seen now from the list view as well.
You can filter by these status' on the claims list and they are included in the CSV.
Take a look and let me know what you think!

Hi all, it would be cool here if we could set up a rule when if claims come in with ANY warning that they automatically get put in the "Reviewing" status. Would that also be helpful in addition to the additional status options?

Tyson Edwards I dont think this would be helpful as there are individual things that need attention and each situation is so different. Putting them into a group "reviewing" does not help as you would still need to click on every claim and review the notes to see what the status is. Having a status such as "resubmitted" or "pending appeal" etc. would make a huge difference for practices that do a large claim volume and are sorting through so many claims.

There is a way to set a claim in certain statuses as being in a 'Review' state. Would this help?

Tyson Edwards: I know for us at least, having a "Resubmitted" or "Corrected" status would be very helpful! Sometimes the clearinghouses don't "talk back" to IQ if the claim is corrected and resubmitted, so it would be a good way for us to identify claims that we may need to go back into the clearinghouse and manually check status on in the event that it doesn't get updated in IQ later on. It also just helps us to quickly identify what might be going on if a claim if it's been >30 days since it was initially created. Another helpful status might be "Appealed" or "Appeal in Process."

Tyson Edwards: I'm not seeing where I can filter the claims list by these statuses and it doesn't look like they show up in the Aging report. So this is not really helpful for making sure that no claims slip through the cracks and go unpaid. I deal with a very large percentage of claims that are processed incorrectly and I can't afford to lose track of them.

Annie Frisbie: Hi, you can filter them in the Status filter on Lists-->Claims. You can multiselect status' in this dropdown.

Tyson Edwards: I can see this filter. But I cannot retroactively apply it to claims that have been marked paid. I'm spending 3-4 hours a week staying on top of the dozens of claims that we need to have reprocessed because they were paid only partially. I currently have a complicated system that combines tagging and tasks and we're still missing things. Just adding 1-2 additional statuses would save me so much time and effort and I would be more likely to be able to recover the money.

Tyson Edwards Any future updates on allowing more statuses? The option to have additional statuses is very important for a practice with high claim volume. We have to sift through denials or resubmitted claims to view notes in order to see the status of each one and what needs to be worked. I know many of us have asked but even a few such as "pending appeal" "resubmitted" would make things much easier. The Reviewing and reviewed does not help as there are so many situations/statuses so you would just be sifting through so many reviewed claims trying to see whats most important based off the status in the notes.

How would you expect this to show in the aging report? Just a column for the statuses.?

Yes I've suggested this as well also needs "crossover"

Anna Vail: AGREE!!! Searching for specific statuses vs clicking through each claim to see whats going on is extremely time consuming. The reviewed and not reviewed status helped a bit but if I have 30 claims under these statuses we still have to click each one. Having more to filter through allows us to know which needs our attention and which may need more time etc. If we could just set our own statuses to set and filter through this would be amazing!
