Most healthcare facilities, fitness centers/gyms/studios, now interface with their clients through apps. Not having that as a feature as a means of scheduling, communication with clients/patients, etc. puts us behind. Accessing the scheduler via mobile device is wonky to say the least. I have been exploring other platforms for this reason- what has kept me with practiceQ(formerly intakeQ when I started) was your superior customer support.

I agree this would be nice - especially for the communication via portal and scheduling features. I would love for it to be more convenient for my patients to communicate with me via the portal rather than having to sign in each and every time.

I have patients struggle to remember where to find the patient portal. It would be very helpful for them if there was an app.

YEs!! this is the sole reason I ended up adding on Spruce, so my patients could have an app.. long term.. this isnt sustainable. its too expensive having all these integrations bc of the lack of functionalitity with PQ. I may need to go with a different EHR.

Aside from linking it on your clinical website, you can also either help them or post this info in your FAQ for creating the icon on their device's home screen using different devices or browsers:

We include a link titled "Patient Portal" on our website that leads to our PQ portal page and direct the patients to our website to find the portal. That way, if your portal changes (um, Luminello anyone?), patients can find it easily without having to remember it.
