I need a way to either email or portal message all clients BUT if they’re not signed up for the portal (which honestly, if they filled out an intake form it should be automatic) — it will invite them to do so!

If you are able to take care of most clients via a portal message, you could go to Lists > Clients and then enter parameters to get the desired result set. Click the Checkbox on the far left to select all and then Bulk Actions > Send Portal Message.

I've exported email addresses then sent an email with a bcc of all clients

Jessica Sparrow I just did that workaround - thanks! I also figured out you can "archive” non clients and non active clients
