I have also requested this feature and I hope it comes soon but I also included:
Although there is a custom list of automated emails creating an option for: Custom Automation - allows users to generate a mass email that can be scheduled at any time to all or active patients, settings would remain the same as any other email automation with the difference of Email Type being Scheduled and allowing us to maybe schedule day/time when that email goes out. And being able to schedule multiple: for example with holidays or when providers are planned to be out of the office, etc.
IntakeQ would really be leading the game with quick additional features like these.

This would be incredibly helpful! At this time we have not given access to the client portal to any of our clients due to the nature of our client profiles. However, we still have situations where a mass communication is needed. The current workaround is to download a CVS file and then take the time to edit it down to our current active clients (We have profiles that are not categorized as client records but rather third party profiles) and then send the email. Secondly, if we got to the point where we wanted to give certain clients access to the messaging aspect of IntakeQ, the easiest way to communicate that would be through email. From what we can tell, there is no easy way to grant access to the messaging portal without doing it for each individual profile one at a time. You can allow self-registration, but we would want to restrict that to established clients (not potential clients). In conclusion, having the system send mass emails with an ability to filter a client list based on tags would be really awesome.
