Make the block time feature work like appointment booking

I would like to be able to categorize and colour code the type of time blocking so I can easily place it in the calendar to schedule things like lengthy report writing and other clinic activities as well as out of office activities.

Yes! Also when you cancel a repeating blocked appointment, it will cancel all of them. It would also be nice if you can add it by clicking on the calendar first and be able to move it around like you do appointments.

I think we all got spoiled using Outlook, although the color coding was sooo helpful for staying organized and conceptualizing what the day/week looked like by a glance. Making that an option here would be nice, while keeping the specific functions for scheduling (changing colors to confirm paperwork is done and billing is set up).

I would love to able to book blocked time on other people's calendars. So fore example, if I'm having a meeting with someone I can block both of our times in that slot.

Brian Frith-Smith you ca do this - as long as you make the block while in the team calendar

Emily DelConte but you would have to manually do it in each person's calendar column on the booking page right? There's no way to make one appointment and have it stretch across everyone's calendars as far as I know.

Brian Frith-Smith- no - if you are in the team calendar, you pick the providers names you want and it blocks their calendars. Not manually 1 by 1, just 1 step.

Agree. I would love to have the option of color coding the blocks so that I can categorize my admin time, vacation/sick time, and personal appointments.

I would love v Otto be easier. The short etched twitch keys is no longer working.

I would love to be able to change colors on blocked time too making out of office and vacation blocks easier to detect!
