We need some way to be able to send mass messages to clients for vacations, office closures, and policy changes. This is a vital feature and I am surprised it is not offered. I also send out diet plans to patients and I have to send them as a consent form- so no option to send a standard message to patients is very limiting.

I agree and voted for this (have also posted this request before). There is a work around that HELPS, though it isn't the same: you can mass message through the client portal, if you use that. To send a bulk portal message, you go to "lists --> clients". Then select the check box next to the clients you wish to send a message to (top box selects all), then "bulk actions" and select "send portal message". It doesn't allow any customization (ie you can't use the placeholder [ClientFirstName]) but it does still get a general message across. Hope this helps until a custom/timed email option is created!

I think you mean ones that are not yet signed up for the portal? Like via email or sms? If so, that could be useful.

I would be okay if this came through the messaging portal and gave the option of having it go to all clients who have had an appointment in the last 3-6 months (ex: about a weather event) or truly all clients (ex: moving). 1,000 at a time is also problematic for us since we have so many thousand in the system.

Yes and a big emphasis on ACTIVE clients, I hate when a patient that just filled out the email portion of the form gets an email and I have to find them and try to remove them.
