Because I'm private pay, I'm having to create an invoice, keep it as draft, print it, upload it, send in portal for clients -- as the current GFE doesn't allow you to actually use invoice data (line by line) to show clients. So I'm not using the GFE.
I would love if the GFE could use the invoice database for estimates. Thoughts?
Thanks for considering!

If this could pull in the fee from whatever service fee is scheduled as their first session - if possible since it varies so much by client.

Hello everyone, the following updates have been made for single practitioners scenarios:
- Practice Header is applied when sending (this was already working)
- Available for insurance clients for out-of-network scenarios
- Can update default delivery method (Email / SMS)
- "Hide Signature" option is available in the GFE settings (Invoice Settings)
- Address is editable (Existing)
- DX selection comes from the main list
- Multiple DX's are allowed now

Tyson Edwards: Any update on what this will look like for group practices?
C
Colin Lourie
Tyson Edwards: It would be useful to have the ability to add a field that automatically populates with the sent date of a Good Faith Estimate (e.g. [SentDate] or [CurrentDate] or something like that. This would get rid of the need to manually enter the current date each time before sending a form and could be used on a custom template so that it would the sent date within the body of the form.

I started using this this week. Thank you!! It is a huge help!

Hello everyone, would love to hear if anyone has been using this. Jennifer has some great feedback. We would love to build on this and make is usable for everyone so let me know how this is working for you all!

Tyson Edwards: Hey Tyson. Did you get what I had sent you about the example with the GFE for groups and how we currently are doing that automation? I hope that helps.
A
Angela Winters
Tyson Edwards: Need to be adjustable for groups.
Tyson Edwards
Angela Winters: Can you confirm what you would need for this?
Marla Shapiro
Tyson Edwards: had no idea y'all had this feature - will check it out. I'm still waiting for "TO" field on fax template which to me is more pressing HIPAA-related issue
A
Angela Winters
Tyson Edwards: We have multiple providers with different rates. So this form doesn't work for us. The rates need to be adjustable.
Tyson Edwards
Angela Winters: So we could allow you to choose the provider for the GFE and the rates adjusted accordingly. Would that work? Would you need to add multiple providers?
A
Angela Winters
Tyson Edwards: Yes and no. We do need to add multiple providers. We also have sliding scales and need to be able to edit the rates.
Tyson Edwards
Angela Winters: You can make the price whatever you need. Does this not work?
C
Colin Lourie
Tyson Edwards: Hey, thank you for creating this. My understanding is a GFE doesn't have to be signed by the client. Some providers do have clients sign something acknowledging that they got one though, but for my practice I don't plan to do this. Could the prompt to sign at the top and client signature at the bottom be optional on intakeQ?
C
Colin Lourie
Tyson Edwards: Also, just testing it out, when I click 'hide grand total' in the settings, I don't see the total hidden when I send out test GFEs.
A
Angela Winters
Tyson Edwards: no, because it saves for the whole company and we have mulitple providers and the rates are different for all of them.
J
Jennifer Hill
Colin Lourie: Yes, I second this. Client signature is not required, and I would like to either be able to remove this or make it optional.
Tyson Edwards
Colin Lourie: Yes, we can add.
Tyson Edwards
Marla Shapiro: Can you send me an email about this "TO" field you are talking about? hello+tyson@intakeq.com

This has been released for single providers. You can check out the article here:
We are still working on adding multiple providers and having it come from the clinic vs provider.
Please provide any additional feedback!
Thank you

Tyson Edwards: This is so helpful! A few suggestions:
- As a MH service provider, there are multiple service types and frequency options that a client might have, and I need to be able to describe (and distinguish) among them. Perhaps adding columns to the estimate to show frequency and duration for each proposed service (frequency: weekly, duration: 6 months) rather than just the "total sessions"? Or, adding an "open text" line underneath each service where I could write a descriptive sentence (e.g., "this reflects [whatever service] on a weekly basis for [time duration, such as 3 months, 6 months, 1 year]."
- When editing the form template, can an option be added to easily include our "custom header" (like other forms allow)?
- Can the diagnosis column be optional? CMS does not require a diagnosis be included in events where it hasn't been determined yet and would not impact/alter the proposed cost estimate. As a MH provider, I would not include a diagnosis for a client I had not met or started treating yet (I understand this may vary by discipline for other providers, so being able to opt in/out of this feature would be helpful).

Jennifer Hill: Hi, thanks for this. As far as the last bullet, we have made it so it will show a TBD for diagnosis if left blank. From our research, this is compliant.
We can certainly look into the other two as they make sense. I think the text line would be most doable at this point.
J
Jennifer Hill
Ashley Lewis: Wonderful, thanks so much for your responsiveness!
C
Christo Brehm
Jennifer Hill: How about keeping the diagnosis column but adding an option such as “TBD” or “Not Defined/Not Designated”
Tyson Edwards
Christo Brehm: Yes, we have updated it to show TBD.
Tyson Edwards
Jennifer Hill: Hi, just wanted to follow up here. The form header will show on the sent GFE so that part is already done.
J
Jennifer Hill
Tyson Edwards: great, thanks very much!
