Feature Request: Insurance Eligibility and Benefits Verification Integration
T

I am writing to request a new feature that would allow insurance eligibility and benefits verification directly within PracticeQ. Currently, we must verify patient coverage through individual insurance portals and then manually enter all eligibility and benefits information into the system. This process is time-consuming and increases the risk of manual entry errors.
An integrated eligibility and benefits verification tool—either built-in or through clearinghouse integration—would greatly improve workflow efficiency, accuracy, and overall productivity. Ideally, this feature would allow us to:
Verify active coverage in real time
View detailed benefits (copay, deductible, coinsurance, out-of-pocket, authorization requirements)
Automatically populate verified information into the patient’s profile
This enhancement would significantly streamline front-office operations and reduce administrative workload for practices like ours.
Thank you for considering this request. Please let me know if any additional details or user feedback would be helpful.

The workflow is not centered on efficiency without the ability to check eligibility. Please find a clearinghouse or 3rd party we can use to verify clients' eligibility.

I strongly support this request. An integrated insurance eligibility and benefits verification feature would significantly reduce administrative time, improve accuracy, and streamline workflow. Having real-time coverage details automatically populate into the system would make a meaningful difference in efficiency and patient experience. This would be a highly valuable enhancement for practices.
