YES!!! Ideally this could be assigned for each of the "Services" created in "Booking Settings" section the same way that a form is able to be assigned with a menu option for "note template" on the left-hand side. See screenshot.

Currently, each time you have an appointment, you have to select the note to use for the service. This could potentially cause errors by using the wrong note. Additionally, being able to link a specific note (or notes) to a specific service will save time and confusion.

Allow users to set a specific note template as the default for each service type. When creating a note for an appointment, this selected default template should appear automatically as the first option.
We have many note templates that everyone needs to be able to use but are not applicable to most service types.
Toggle Available Templates:
Provide a toggle option for each service type to specify which note templates are applicable and available for selection.
This enhancement will streamline the note creation process by ensuring that the most relevant templates are readily accessible, thus improving user efficiency and experience.

Ideally the note would only show up on the timeline AFTER the appointment occurred but you could still access it ahead of the appointment by clicking on the appointment itself. Regardless, administration should definitely be able to set up automatic linking of notes to services. Currently, it's the main way to identify that notes are missing for an appointment, but it requires manually going in and creating each one individually. Not an option for a business with multiple appointments.

Tyson Edwards: I personally would want it created very first thing the morning of the appointment. I figure that way if the appointment/s is/are canceled/deleted, in the case of it being a recurring appointment any the pt is discharged, I wouldn’t have to go back and delete that note for the future appointments.
Maybe it would be a good idea to setup a way to choose when, or far in advance, the notes are created on the timeline.

Emily DelConte: actually I like what Emily said better than what I said above. I would also love to see the “create note” link moved from the menu that opens when you tap the 3 vertical dots to be in the location that the link to the attached note appears at the bottom of the appointment window.

Tyson Edwards: Still have it after clicking 'Create Note,' but instead of having to select a template, the system would just generate whatever note we preset as the default note for that service.

We would prefer that it would be created in the timeline when the appointment started or at the start of the day, NOT at booking.
It should be possible to tie a Service Type in the system to a specific Note template, so that way you don't have to worry about selecting the correct type. (i.e. Admin could create note templates and assign them to certain services specifically. Like Individual Appointments would be tied to Individual Notes, Family Therapy would be tied to a Family Therapy Note template, etc. This would be done by the office NOT IntakeQ's system.)
And if an appointment were marked as Canceled, a Cancellation note would be created or replace the previous note template. Or if it were marked as Missed, a Missed Note template would automatically pop into place to replace the previous note template.

I imagine when you click create note for that service, the default note would come up first, so we can change it if we want to, but we don't have to search for the usual note

Tyson Edwards: in the same way there is a default form for each appointment have another line that says default note template and when you go to start a note that’s the one that’s listed first but you can see all of the other options too if you want to switch.

Tyson Edwards for example - if an appointment 90837 is scheduled/recurring, a note would be automatically created in draft of the note template chosen by the clinician.

I would love to be able to have the note type or even suggestion/folder to be available when when click Create Note instead of scrolling 25 different type of forms/notes to get to the one needed.

Tyson Edwards: after creating, and saving, an appointment you can then click on the 3 vertical dots, click “create note”. It’s not until that point that you have the pop up to select the appropriate note to attach to the appointment and open.
