Imagine if providers could assign tasks directly to clients inside the Patient Portal — and clients could see, complete, and track them in one place.
This feature would allow providers to:
• Assign custom tasks (upload documents, complete forms, follow care steps, reminders, etc.)
• Set due dates and priority levels
• Track completion status in real time
• Receive automatic notifications when tasks are completed

Great idea and I’d imagine relatively easy to implement given that task management already exists on the staff-side.

THIS is patient engagement! It would give PQ a leading edge in the market, both on the provider side (helps keep patients meaningfully engaged and progressing) and patient side (a much more impressive and needs-based experience).
