Change text appointment reminders

Currently, SMS reminders basically at any time, will take up 2 units. This is frustrating. The day/month are spelled out in the reminder, and then if you have confirmation enabled, it says "reply yes to confirm or no to cancel." Changing this to a confirmation link would also shorten the length of text.

1) Shorten the date and time text to the bare minimum
2) Change confirmation to a short link
3) Provide the ability to remove cancellation functionality in the SMS (my practice requires patients to call us for cancellations/reschedules... SimplePractice separates confirmations and cancellations in SMS)

you are almost guaranteed to go over your monthly texts allowance if you have appointment confirmation enabled for text reminders. You are limited to 160 characters, and right now, if you have the appointment time/date in the reminder, you are almost guaranteed to go over the 160 limit as it SPELLS OUT the month/day (ex: Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 Pacific Standard Time--literally...no joke) and if you have confirmation enabled, it then says "reply yes to confirm your attendance or no to cancel. the appointment" So just these two here are 125 characters, leaving you with ONLY 35 left. Then add: Reminder of your appointment with ____...(that's 34 characters even without the name). And poof! Over 160. I do not know of any other EHR that has limits on the # of messages that are sent out and this is my one biggest beef with IQ.
Make these changes: mm/dd/yy, shortening the time zone to abbreviation (PST, EST, etc.), and a LINK to confirm, rather than the current method (this is done in emails so the ability is already there).
