Automated email when prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy

I would love for patients to receive an automated email when their prescriptions have been sent to the pharmacy. This would save our staff a lot of time fielding calls and texts from patients who say their pharmacy didn't receive the prescriptions. Usually the prescriptions were sent in, but there's an issue with insurance or the medication is out of stock.

This!!! One of my biggest time-wasters is having to inform my patients that I've indeed sent in their prescription. However, my patients will assume I didn't since the pharmacy was out of stock or their insurance didn't cover their meds. It's exhausting since this will happen 2-3 times per week!!!
I've started to educated my patients to use the "Prescriptions" tab in the patient portal to view the prescriptions that I've submitted to the pharmacy. I really hope the prescription tab functionality can allow patients to request refills in the future
