Auto-Charge Co-Pay, Co-Insurance, Deductible After ERA Updates

It would be a time-saver to have an option to auto-charge client co-pays, co-insurances, and/or deductibles that are in the received ERAs. It would be helpful to have it as a practice-billing default but allow some clients to be opted out if they have secondary insurances or third-party payers. This could save my practice of 25 practitioners approximately 10 hours weekly.

Hello all,
We have added a Payment filter to the Claims > Appointments page that will show you invoices that have been updated by the ERA.
You can multi-select these and bulk charge them all at once via the Bulk Actions button. Would you mind taking a look?

Tyson Edwards: this is very helpful! thank you!

For auto-charge, Are you not worried about errors in the ERA from the payer and charging something to the client that you may need to refund?
Would it be helpful if we provided an easy way to see these invoices that need to be charged from the Claims Appts list and List > Invoices?

Tyson Edwards: I would definitely take an easy way to see the invoices over nothing, but when I set up autobilling in PQ I just assumed that it would autobill everything including ERAs. There will always be a few mistakes but if the ERA had a mistake I likely wouldn't catch it until probably a month after it was charged anyway, when the insurance company sends us a notice. I definitely would want a way to opt a certain client out of the autobilling in case there is a known ERA issue with them, but I assume we could just do that by turning off their autobilling on their profile.

Tyson Edwards: I would have to agree would need to be able to pull a list of all auto invoices created for the day to sort through them vs just getting an email saying "new invocie created or updated" Some days we have 30+ invoices to go though via email and its extremply time consuming.
