We would like the ability to assign custom compounds created in IntakeQ’s ePrescribe portal into categories (similar to how invoice products can be categorized).
Problem:
Currently, IntakeQ allows us to create and save custom compounds, but the list can quickly become long and unorganized. Without a way to categorize or group compounds, it becomes inefficient to locate the correct formulation—especially when managing multiple specialties (e.g., pain creams, hormone therapies, dermatology blends, etc.).
Proposed Solution:
-Add a “Category” field when creating or editing a custom compound.
-Allow practices to define custom categories (e.g., “Hormone Therapy,” “Pain Management,” “Dermatology,” etc.).
-Compounds could then be filtered or sorted by category within the prescription management interface.
Benefits:
-Improves prescribing efficiency by reducing search time.
-Helps maintain consistency and reduce errors when choosing between multiple similar compounds.
-Provides organizational flexibility similar to what is already available for invoice products.
-Scales better for practices that prescribe across multiple therapeutic areas.
Optional Enhancements:
-Ability to filter or search prescriptions by category.
-Ability to set favorites within each category.
-Category tags included when exporting or reporting prescription data.
