Update on Lab Ordering & Results Integration
Now available: We’ve released an integration with Fullscript that lets you order labs and view results directly in PracticeQ. This includes access to 600+ blood tests through the Quest Labs Network—great for routine and baseline screenings.
What’s next: We know many of you also need access to additional Quest and LabCorp testing, along with insurance support. We’re actively reviewing partnerships to meet those needs.
Change in plans: We had previously announced an Optum integration. After deeper analysis, we found it would create a very cumbersome experience for our customers, including up to 3 months for each account approval. Instead, we’re focused on finding partnerships that provide fast onboarding and a seamless self-ordering experience.

BEGGING FOR LABCORP. The ability to even ORDER through PQ would be great. We just need to be sure it keeps our pricing tier

Unfortunately this integration does not work for those of us running insurance based practices. The patient still has to print out a form and bring it to the lab, but now they have to pay out of pocket instead of currently their insurance.
It would have been really helpful to clarify this in the announcement. I went through all the steps to sign up and do the training before figuring this out. Very disappointing.

Weston Ferrer, MD so if you order through Fullscript, they can't use their insurance?
W

Meghna Joshi MD Correct. They have to pay in advance.

A labs integration with Fullscript has been released. This includes over 600 blood tests through Quest Labs Network. We will continue to consider an additional integration with Quest and/or LabCorp with insurance reimbursement.

Tina Koro (IntakeQ) this isn’t helpful—no insurance allowed when going through Fullscript. Labs really need to be directly through PracticeQ, not Fullscript.

Would allow patients to use their insurance for labs and continue to use labs and lab interfaces that they have been using with other practitioners.
